Our amenities are extensive, so whatever you feel like doing, it’ll still feel like you’re getting away. When you’re not outside hiking, biking, or fishing, you can still treat your body well inside - whether in our fitness center, a luxurious spa, or outdoor hot tub.

Sage Lodge guestrooms make it extremely enticing to simply relax in front of the fireplace or stretch out on our cozy beds and crack open a few books (or spirits, for that matter). And, our Ranch Houses offer a full kitchen and large flat-screen TV. It’s the perfect locale to gather and make plans for the day, or wind down and relive the adventures you just enjoyed. Then, when you’ve worked up an appetite, head to The Fireside Room or The Grill for an authentic Montana meal.

We can safely say that during your time with us, you’ll never be at a loss for something to do. If outdoor expeditions are what you live for, this is where you belong. Montana vacations are synonymous with outdoor adventure, be it fishing, rafting, horseback riding, mountain biking, or just meandering through raw lands at your leisure. And if it’s indeed fishing you, love, Sage Lodge is the perfect destination for Montana fly fishing.

At Sage Lodge, you’re in the presence of distinctive geographic landmarks that many people never get the opportunity to discover. So, while you can embark on any number of journeys throughout the day, including a tour of Yellowstone National Park just 35 minutes away, we also invite you to pour yourself a drink on your patio or balcony and gaze at the majesty of Emigrant Peak. That, in and of itself, is the type of relaxation that’s worth the trip.

Come take on a new adventure, or simply do the things that make you happy. Either way, you’ll be in a setting that’s quite unforgettable.

This place is amazing 🤩! I want to say an especially big thank you to the amazing staff. Thank you Brittney for being an amazing waitress ⭐️😁. Give the chef my love because my breakfast this morning was fabulous. And whoever makes the coffee there is a genius ☕️ ❤️. The spa staff is also a true treasure. Thank you Emily and Suzette for making me feel warm and welcome. 🙏 You helped me melt away the stress of the work week and I am so grateful for you. I am so lucky 🍀 to have Sage in my backyard. You all really are the best!! Lots of love to everyone who works there ❤️❤️❤️

Truly an unforgettable experience! My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Sage for a week and we were blown away from the moment we walked in the door. The customer service was exemplary from the front desk folks, to the restaurant, bartenders, and workers at the spa. You can just stay at the lodge for a week and be blown away by the views, activities, food, and drink. On top of that, the location is perfect. It’s nestled between the national park and Bozeman which makes it great for day trips either direction. In addition, the town of Emigrant has some great local bars and restaurants nearby the Lodge. I cannot say enough nice things about Sage, thank you!

We had an incredible 3 night stay at Sage Lodge. It was the perfect location to enjoy all the activities we did for this epic birthday trip. We had a king size room with a fireplace facing the pond on the lower level. The room was very clean - the whole hotel is clean. The snacks out all day and coffee for half the day are a nice touch. We had breakfast one day at the main restaurant which was great - Harry was great. And dinner one night at the steak house - Lane was the man!! Tyler behind the bar was awesome too. The spa was fantastic loved the facilities and reasonable pricing. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub after a long day of fly fishing. The hotel is very quiet which was nice to go to bed at a reasonable hour. I would highly recommend!!! A few comments about the gym though - there are no wipes for cleaning (the ones available were all dried up) and the treadmill desperately needs to be replaced. It is not longer calibrated and kind of on its last leg.

For an elevated get away, this is a great choice. The drive there is beautiful. The staff are amazing and will bend over backwards to make sure your stay is memorable and that you look forward to visiting again and again. Very worth the price 🙌

After giving a tour through Lamar valley, my partner and I decided to stay at the Sage Lodge. This was a great decision! I’ve stayed at many hotels around Yellowstone and this one has the best view by far. The fireside restaurant was delicious and great service (thank you Tyler!). The concierge was also super helpful (thank you madeleine!)
