"We did not stay in the rooms here but we did enjoy a fabulous sleigh ride with Tom and Duke. The landscape and weather made the ride magical with snow flurries yet temperatures in the 30s and snow covered tree! The ride was like a fairytale dream! When we arrived, there was a cozy cabin with a warm fire to gather around while waiting for our shuttle. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lodge that we gathered at had an outdoor campfire and cozy lounge to sit and relax to enjoy cocktails and conversation prior to our departure on the sleigh ride. Introductions, safety instructions and greetings we delivered with warmth by staff. The ride was a nostalgic western experience to remember! The cabin we stopped at for dinner was romantic with dim lighting and artistically touched with a talented musician who entertained us while the food was being served. The culinary dishes were excellent. The flavoring was a bit dull but the presentation and array of dishes were superb. The potato soup was paired well with French bread and a honey butter. I felt that the prime rib could have used more seasoning and wasn't warm. The au jus sauce was a bit bland too. However, the chicken pot pie was like fireworks in my mouth with the flakiness of the crust colliding with the tender vegetables and gravy. I did request decaffeinated coffee to be served with my dessert but the server never returned with it after pouring those who chose regular cup of Joe. This experience is one to remember and encouraged to put on your bucket list! What a wonderful evening ✨️"

"Oh my gosh!!!! It was snowing when we arrived. It's beauty is mesmerizing and walking trails were just awesome. All covered with fresh snow. Such a great spot for a fun snow day! ❄️ The views are amazing and the staff are super friendly. There us a pickup service from the airport to the accommodation so you don’t have to worry rent a car or drive here. The cabin was clean, comfortable and beautiful. I think how they do turn down service everyday. The food was great too. It’s a perfect family getaway. Will definitely come back! Ps. At the hotel there are lot of activities for you to enjoy such as snow shoeing, skiing lessons, snow automobiles ride etc The only downside for me was the hot water service run out really fast."

"Wonderful splurge on our 10 day vacation, with the ranch being our last 2 nights. Weather was great Memorial weekend. Horseback riding even for a beginner like me was nice and easy-going thru wooded trails and the wranglers were so nice. We had a twin cabin Rainbow. We'd love to come back with our kids and grandkids."

"Everything was top notch from start to finish. Our cabin was clean, cozy and it actually felt like home. Food was unbelievable: both quality and taste. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We were there with 2 young kids and not a single time I felt that my kids were unwelcome. Waiters at the restaurant deserve a special mention for their attentiveness, friendliness and professionalism. Great place for a family vacation. Will be back next year. Thank you!"

"Recently spent 5 nights at the ranch. Here is an honest assessment of my time there. Check in: First impressions were very positive. The Post where you check in is upscale but still feels like you are checking into a ranch. Communication upon checkin was minimal and I wish it was a little better. Basically here are your keys and that's it. We requested a printout of our daily activities which they happily provided. Room: We stayed in the Bull Moose and thought it was great. Had all the charm we wanted. Was always kept clean and sticked with wood. Great snacks were there when we arrived. Our only issue is that this cabin was listed as accommodating up to 4 people. This is technically true, but that means 2 people sleep in the main king sized bed, and 2 people have to sleep in a pull out couch bed. The pull out bed may have been ok for 1 person, but was quite uncomfortable for 2. We requested a cot but none was provided. I would say this cabin should sleep 3 comfortably. Activities: This was a mixed bag and where some improvements could be made. The guided tour of Yellowstone was a real highlight of the trip. Horseback riding was outstanding. The other offered activities are axe throwing, archery, and a ropes course. These were fun but should really not be considered anything more than lawn games. At the price point of this ranch, the prime activities of the area should be included, namely white water rafting and fly fishing. The ranch does advertise 3rd party outfits that do these things at an extra price, but if they were included and set up by the ranch, it would truly make this place special. Food: The food situation is complicated. You get access to the Horn and Cantle, which is equivalent to a high end steak house. The food is excellent. The ambiance is great. Service is great. But while eating a meal at a high end steak house is great, eating every meal at a high end steak house is a lot. Every meal is very heavy. The breakfast and lunch menus are the same every day, and there are usually 2 specials with dinner. And its true that the meals are included so you could order everything and just take a few bites, but it would be very wasteful which is something more than one person I spoke with wasn't comfortable with. Also, you are still presented with a bill at the end so you can tip, and the meals are exorbitantly priced. So even if you wanted a quick bite (which is key with kids), that's not really possible and you will be presented with a large bill to tip on top of. Having more quick options and either including gratuity or having one gratuity at the end of the trip would be a big improvement. Service: All worker's are outstanding. They all seem genuinely interested to talk with you and make sure you are having a good time. Whoever trained/hired such good workers should be commended. Final thoughts: There are minor issues, but none were so bad that I couldn't recommend the place. However, at the price point of this ranch, these things should be addressed. In the end, we all had a good time, and really that's what matters."
