SUSAN WEISS

The daughter of an architect who was also an avid collector—and the company’s namesake, Harold Emerson Bailey—by an early age Susan was surrounded by the rare. Starting from childhood, Susan traveled extensively to expand her global viewpoint, looking at each destination as a unique discovery she brought back to hone her design perspective.

Studying design at university, Susan embraced interior design as the marriage of those special finds she constantly sourced and the emotionally resonant environments that housed them. In 1994 Susan launched her design firm, Bailey Interiors, which in 2016 evolved into the full-service Emerson Bailey of today.
